South Mount Hebron: Arab assaulted officer with bucket of cement

Arabs tried to build a structure in fire zone, backed by leftists. IDF arrived to prevent the construction. One of the Arabs attacked an officer and hit his head with a bucket of cement

15 Arabs, aided by engineering tools, began casting floor to building located in a fire zone near the settlement Avigail in southern Mount Hebron, according to reports by the news agency 'Tatzpit'.

An IDF force from the Shimshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade arrived and tried to stop the construction, the Arabs began arguing with the soldiers while ignoring requests to terminatr the works. Police and civil administration forces arrived and also sought the Arabs to stop the construction, while explaining that this is a fire zone and Arabs are forbidden to stay there, let alone build there.

During the argument one of the Arabs attacked an IDF officer who was present with a cement bucket with which he punched the officer's head, and the officer was lightly injured, and needed no medical attention.

In addition, extreme leftists arrived and joined the Arabs and began to rage and attack police officers.

Many IDF forces were rushed to the scene who took control over the incident. According to a report from 'Tatzpit' there are at least three detainees until now.
