Baruch Dayan Haemes: In Jerusalem Rabbi Eliyahu Chawi zt"l passed away today (Monday) when he was in his 60s.
The deceased was born to his late father Rabbi Moshe z"l and his late mother Mazal a"h. He married his wife, daughter of Rabbi Amram Azoulay zt"l.
During his lifetime R' Eliyahu established communities and synagogues, he was a person of virtue, love and pursued righteousness and kindness, and won over the hearts of many.
The funeral will leave today (Monday) at 15:00 noon from the funeral home 'Kehillas Yerushalayim' to Har Hamenuchos in Givat Shaul, where he will be buried.
His families are sitting shiva at his home on 105 Sanhedria Murchevet, Jerusalem.
