Five months after she lost eight members of her family in a car accident in Tiberias, the girl Rachel Attias marks her 8th birthday.

Rachel, who miraculously survived a serious car accident, will celebrate with her family in the settlement Bar Yochai, where she grew up.

Her uncle Ronen Cohen, in whose home town of Tzfat Rachel has been living since the accident, told Behadrey Haredim: "This is an intimate event which will be attended by immediate family, her classmates, members from the community and the neighborhood in Tzfat."

About Rachel's feelings on her birthday, he says: "Naturally she is very excited and happy."

Finally he said that recently they try to stay away from news coverage. "This is Rachel's will," he said.

Hezi Shavaks, CEO of Zaka in Israel who shared organizing the birthday, told Behadrei Haredim: "The idea came since Racheli came to our rehabilitation camp for victims of accidents and terrorist attacks in Eilat a short time ago. This is a small event with a small number of people".

He said, "Rachel had one wish, we bring the pair Asi and Tuvia for a show, and indeed we have achieved it."

Recently it was reported that the girl's representatives are suing 13 million shekels from the insurance company 'Shomera'. "She is suffering today and will suffer her entire life," wrote her attorney, Oren Chen, who filed the lawsuit.
