The formal decision not to include infiltrators war in the Shas election campaign failed to convince Interior Minister Eli Yishai. He is determined that the matter is close to the hearts of many Shas voters.
So if into the election campaign he cannot add the war he fought, because the information headquarters, headed by Minister Ariel Atias, is the one who manages the messages, but as interior minister of the state of Israel he can continue to flood the subject.
This morning his office issued the following statement: "The small number of infiltrators this month amounts to 49 compared to 1998 in October last year – and is the result of an uncompromising policy that will not compromise in the future."
Interior Minister Eli Yishai: "Just continuing with the uncompromising policy such as building the fence, the Infiltration Law, and enforcement activity of the Immigration Authority will minimize the number of infiltrators to Israel. Nevertheless, the problem of the presence of most of the infiltrators, the citizens of Eritrea and northern Sudan, who have decided to stay and do as they pleased in the Jewish state cannot be resolved without prosecution willingness to defend the government's decisions about allowing infiltrators to stay in facilities, and no opinions by the Foreign and Justice ministries which will allow the removal of most of the infiltrators. "
The minister said that his ministry is currently working together with the Prime Minister's office to find a solution to remove the infiltrators from Eritrea and northern Sudan to a third world country.
