Sderot Mayor David Buskila, who is on a hunger strike, felt unwell during the demonstration held by him and his staff in Jerusalem.

The MDA team, dispatched to the scene, gave him medical treatment.

Spokesman for the mayor said he was undergoing tests in the area.

Buskila has been on a five days hunger strike in a protest tent set up in front of the Prime Minister's office in protest of the municipality who has not received financial aid from the government for the municipality's debts, which are estimated at ten million shekels.

Buskila worsened the struggle on Wednesday against the government and began a hunger strike.

Many public figures have arrived at the tent, but they still have not found a solution to the crisis.
