'Ceasefire' violated: Grads at Beersheba

Cease-fire? Early this morning (Sunday) three Grad rockets hit open areas in Beersheba. Following that - the city announced the cancellation of school.

During the early hours of the night, just after midnight, an air raid system was implemented in the Eshkol communities. A short time later two rockets exploded in open areas, there were no injuries or damage caused. Some of the rockets fired landed in Palestinian territory.

Half an hour later Israeli Air Force attacked terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. Palestinians reported that a group of terrorists were attacked east of Khan Younis. Suleiman Al - Karah aged 27, an armed wing of Hamas was killed, and another terrorist was wounded and evacuated to a hospital.

According to Palestinian sources, the squad which was attacked was firing mortar shells at IDF forces operating near the border fence.

IDF spokesperson of the Air Force – Israeli air force validated during the night (Sunday) a central Gaza terrorist squad which dealt with the final preparations for launching rocket attacks into Israeli territory and space launch rocket attacks. An attack was identified as well as secondary explosions.

Last Wednesday more than 70 rockets were fired at Israel, resulting in three injured foreign workers, and school communities near the Gaza Strip were shut down. At the end of the day Israel and Hamas reached an informal conclusion of a ceasefire through the mediation of the Egyptian intelligence official.

IDF Spokesperson stated that "the IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers and will continue to operate against anyone who operates terror against Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization and are held responsible."

Meanwhile, two Hamas seniors, Ahmed Halil Halil and Ahmed Haruvi, were killed by Assad's security forces in a Daraa refugee camp in southern Syria.
