Anti-Semitism in the Ukraine, a country whose soil is soaked with Jewish blood, is rearing its head again: Today's elections samples (Sunday) indicate and achievement to the extreme right party 'Svoboda' (- freedom), which gained 12 percent of the vote. This is the first time the party, whose leaders often attack the Jews, managed to pass the threshold.

Party leader Oleg Tiagnivok, does not spare harsh anti-Semitic statements. Among other things, he called for the free of the Ukraine, "of the Russian authorities and Jews."

The winner of the election is the ruling party 'Regions', headed by current President Viktor Yanukovych, who gained about 30 percent of the vote. The block of opposition parties, led by Yanukovich's great rival, former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who is serving a prison sentence for corruption, won by 24 percent. The Communist Party won 12 percent.

President Yanukovych will make every effort to ensure that anti-Semitic 'Svoboda' will not be part of the coalition he will form.
