A toddler was found wandering alone on Friday night in Mishkenot Yaakov in Bnei Brak.
A citizen resident of the neighborhood who found the child brought him to the home of a volunteer of Hatzala Gush Dan, Meir Zargrian. The volunteer tried at first to talk to the child and to extract information, but the child did not cooperate.
With the aid of other volunteers he tried to locate the child's parents. They asked passersby if they are familiar with the child or if they met parents who are looking after a child.
After about 3 hours information reached them that parents are looking for their child who left a hall on Kehillos Yaakov street in which they were due to a Simcha. The volunteer arrived with the child at the hall where family members identified the child and all ended peacefully.
The organization of Hatzala Gush Dan call upon parents to watch over their children even if they are in a family celebration.
In this case a citizen found the boy when he was in the area of the hall. But the boy could have walked away from the area and even reached dangerous roads.
