A Tish event which was supposed to be held this Shabbos in Yavniel with the Breslever Rav in the city, Mohar"s Shick, was canceled.
Many Chassidei Breslev stayed over Shabbos in Yavniel, to be with their Rav. Harav Shick, who lives in Boro Park, is visiting Israel these days and staying at the center of his community in Yavniel.
On Shabbos night, the Chassidim, who had already gathered into the Tish hall, were surprised to hear from the gabbai that the Tish was canceled because of his medical weakness.
As a result, the Chassidim held a Tefilla rally and said Tehillim for his refuah.
"This is a rare cancellation, since the most important thing for the Rebbe is to give his words of chizuk to those who come to hear him," says one of the senior members of the kehilla.
On Shalosh Seudos Harav Schick held his table as usual, and gave a long talk.
Last Pesach the Rav had an open heart operation, after suffering a few heart attacks. Since then his condition has been improving, but this Shabbos he felt great weakness again.
