A quiet night passed on the residents of the area around Gaza, after the informal ceasefire was reported last night (Wednesday), but was broken this morning.
School is held regularly.
Yesterday over 80 rockets were fired from Gaza, three foreign workers were seriously injured and one was slightly injured.
The latest Grad rocket was fired after 22:00; the Iron Dome intercepted the missile which was fired at Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.
"Iron Dome" battery Fighters managed to intercept about 7 rockets and thus prevented a direct hit at the civilian population. Two people were seriously injured and another person was slightly injured by a direct hit by rockets.
Today Fawzi Barhoum a Hamas spokesman in Gaza announced, that armed factions will respond "more strongly".
It is no wonder that residents of the south do not expect good and some of them have told the media that the silence is "only temporary."
Yesterday, the IDF attacked terrorist targets five times and rocket launching squads.
Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, said that his country would not agree to an attack on Palestinians. "We will not allow an attack on the Palestinian people, and absolutely do not agree that someone will impose a blockade on the Palestinian people. We will continue to help the Palestinian people and to give them food and clothing."
