Elections? Suddenly everyone is embracing 'escalation in South'

Danny Danon is consistent in being "Rightist", Eli Yishai continues to break right. Ketzele speaks frankly - and the Left also has what to say

The escalation in the south will probably be part of the parties' election campaign, but already this morning, in reactions to the media, it was apparent how Knesset members exploit the situation, from left to right, to serve their own agenda for the future campaign.

What is interesting is that the left and right were able to 'use' the trouble in the south. Each one made a full adjustment to his own interests.

Take the Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar, who based himself on the support of rightist factors in the primaries, who raged, as expected, in his response: "One has to pound away at terrorists in the Gaza Strip, to take a heavy toll on the attack on the Gaza vicinity communities in a way which will chill their enthusiasm for attacks on Israeli citizens."

As we all know, he too knows that if this wasn't an election period, there is no chance of his prime minister responding, as he never responded throughout his term to escalations. But talk is cheap. So why not?

More:
• Escalation in South • rocket barrage: two seriously injured, houses damaged

By the way, if Netanyahu decides to attack Hamas, then the decision will be part of a comprehensive strategic ,move, a move that will pass the scrutiny of media policy makers, prior to the elections.

Member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Danny Danon, also approached Netanyahu, and called for an immediate act against the terrorist attacks in the south: "The State of Israel has to crack the Hamas heads in Gaza. Through a series of attacks on Hamas leaders all over the Strip, we can stop the raging terror, "said Danon."We should not allow the situation of the residents of the South to become a trivial issue, and Israel must respond strongly to clarify to Hamas - terrorism does not pay off. "

According to Danon's initiative, for every missile launched from Gaza toward Israel, the Israeli Air Force will bomb targets of Hamas leaders in Gaza: "Only the understanding that any attempt of terrorism against Israeli citizens, will pull a general bombing up to the homes of senior Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip, will be able to return the Israeli deterrence power and will allow residents of the south to live a secure life."

Danon, at least, is consistent all the way in his being Rightist, and therefore enjoys overwhelming support from the right-wing Likud factions.

The solution to terrorism: Party Support

Chairman of Haichud Haleumi (z"l?) Yaakov (Ketzele) Katz, stated: "The answer to the continuing security failure over the last four years is just the fact that the religious-national community will be, as in the army and the educational system, the backbone of the next government.

"Giving power to the largest faction which unites the national-religious public will bring an end to the weak performance of the State of Israel, which is forced to absorb thousands of missiles and puts tens of thousands of people into protected spaces on a daily basis.

"Southern residents know that the joint national-religious party Haichud Haleumi and Habayit Hayehudi will bring about the establishment of a government which will be proud and will respect its citizens, and the humiliation of exile will end!".

At least Ketzele does not disguise the political interest in his response. Support the new party we joined, he says almost in heart - disclosure. But in his case it can not be suspected in any way that he would not respond the same reaction if it was not an election period. His opinion on the subject is well known and consistent.

This is the answer to the escalation in the south, to those who have not realized it yet.

And what about Shas? If you think, after watching the film 'Hamakor' yesterday, on the third of chairman of Shas Aryeh Deri, that the movement turns its back on the right line and passes to the left side of the map, here is the balance.

According to a third of Shas Chairman and Interior Minister Eli Yishai, "You should never send a 'Love Boat' to those who dream of warships. Gaza chose to become a terrorist entity and Israel has to deal with it as such, and the world should know that encouragement ships to Gaza and turning a blind eye in the face of events in Sderot and the Gaza envelope communities, is encouraging the development of terrorism there. "

If he would have responded as a third of Shas chairman, he would need an approval from the information management which is managed by a third of Shas Chairman - Ariel Atias.

But wearing the hat of interior minister of the State of Israel, he is entitled to respond 'spontaneously'.

Do not buy the 'spin' The Left also jumped on the bandwagon.

Meretz Chairman MK Zahava Gal-On, quickly identified, on the one hand, with the suffering of the residents of the south "who once again absorb the firing of rockets", but hurried and warned: "Netanyahu and Barak will escalate the situation in the south for the elections, and will fight to pass Barak above the threshold. It seems that the election campaign of Barak and Netanyahu will not amount to propaganda and billboards, but also in igniting the sector in Gaza."

"The good news is that this time we will not buy the spin of Operation Cast Lead 2", she added.

Obviously we won't buy. That's what journalism is for.
