Many media personalities move from one media tool to another, but far less replace the microphone with a keyboard.

Yisrael Rosner, one of the Hasidic characters of Radio Kol Chai, is leaving the station after four years of work and passing onto the written press.

Rosner, a Pinsk - Carlin chossid, 25 years old, produced the main news broadcast in the radio and served as a reporter and in the Knesset and as correspondent for Hareidim at the radio station. Rosner will be the first Hasidic reporter at the Lithuanian daily.

His friends at the radio said that the announcement of the withdrawal came as a surprise. "We will miss him very much," say colleagues and compliment him: "Yisrael is a professional in every respect, a real journalist."

Rosner also served as a spokesman of the Daf Hayomi events , organized by Yahadut HaTorah in Jerusalem.
