Chaim Amsalem's party, 'Am Shalem', continues to work and prepare for the upcoming elections in March. A huge sign associated with the party has been posted at the entrance to Jerusalem, and yesterday the Party Chairman toured the Machane Yehuda Market, and received warm welcome and supportive words from traders and shoppers.
Meanwhile, this morning Naftali Bennett who is running for the leadership of Habayit Hayehudi said, if he wins first place in the primaries, he'll do anything to integrate Amsalem's party with the Bayit Hayehudi party.
In a conversation with MK Amsalem he agrees. "Am Shalem has set off, all God-fearing joined forces are welcomed," he says. "Am Shalem's potential alone is between five and seven seats."
Amsalem spoke about his visit to the market: "It was remarkable, tremendous sympathy and support for Am Shalem. Everyone convinces us that Am Shalem has tremendous potential."
