Menachem Carmel sought "compromise", but Mottele Karelitz has cut off contact

It's not over: the war waging between 'Hapeles' and 'Degel HaTorah, continues to generate negations (or not) between the parties, along with pressures to secure third place in the Degel HaTorah' for the 'Yerushalmi' candidate.

It was reported yesterday at length concerning the "negotiations explosion" (or not) between the 'Hapeles' and members at the 5 Chazon Ish household and vertices at Degel HaTorah. However, even today 'Hapeles' members continue to claim: "The negotiations continue with full power." In contrast, members of Degel HaTorah continue to clarify: "There are no negotiations. There will not be."

So where did the new story on the continuing negotiations come from? It turns out that behind this story – there is actually a very interesting story:

A few days ago, Menachem Carmel, owner of the Bar-Koll supermarket chain and leader of the 'Yerushalmi' sector came to the home of Rabbi Nathan Zochovsky, spiritual leader of the newspaper committee at Yated Ne'eman in Bnei - Brak. Carmel began to tell him his problems resulting from internal Lithuanian divisions. He said, as quoted by a senior source, there has been a recent decrease in his balance sheets statements of the Bar-Koll Network and recorded a drop in bookings for events in the 'Heichalei Malchus' halls he owns.

"We have to compromise and reach unity", Carmel said.

Hgr"n Zochovsky, who did not want to intervene in the conflict splits within the Lithuanian public, promptly invited Rabbi Mordechai Karelitz, former mayor of Bnei Brak and leader of Degel HaTorah, so that he will state (or not) his opinion, without having the Rabbi intervene.

Karelitz came in, wishing everyone well, and upon seeing Carmel sitting there - turned around and requested to stop the meeting.

"There is no doubt we are talking about a negotiation, and at the end, an impressive explosion," Degel HaTorah say.

Menachem Carmel refused to respond.
