French Ambassador to Israel, Christophe Bigot, met this morning (Monday) with MK Rabbi Haim Amsalem, the Am Shalem party chairman, in his bureau in the Knesset.
At the meeting, the ambassador heard from Amsalem about the Am Shalem party, which was established last week and in addition, Mr. Moshe Tzarfati CEO of movement and Mrs.Tamar Avisira, representative of immigrants from France, were presented to him.
Rabbi Amsallem told the French Ambassador about the French department in motion and that 'Am Shalem' will serve as a clear address in the next Knesset for the large community of French immigrants in Israel.
Amsallem also reviewed at the request of the Ambassador, the Israeli political system and the emerging powers set towards the elections.
The conversation in French was warm and affectionate, at the end of which the Ambassador thanked Rabbi Amsalem for the hospitality and wished him success in his new political way.
