Bnei Brak residents spend the least: 2620 shekels per capita
CBS figures show: the highest per capita expenditure - Tel Aviv, and the lowest - in Bnei Brak • Highest density - Jerusalem, Bnei Brak and Ashdod

New data published today (Sunday) by the CBS, reveal that household consumption expenditure is highest in the city of Rechovot, and it stands at 15,815 shekels, however, in Bat Yam is the lowest expense – 10,332 shekels per household. Weighted by capita, Tel Aviv - Jaffa leads with the highest consumption expenditure per capita 6841 NIS, compared with Bnei Brak with the lowest score - 2620 shekels per person.
In the city of Haifa, is the highest percentage of expenditure on transport and communication, in Beer Sheva the highest percentage of expenditure on food and health, and in Rechovot the highest percentage of expenditure on education, culture and entertainment.
In the national average – the percentage who live in owned apartments is 68.8%, and the percentage of those living in rented dwellings is 26.3%. In cities which are considered Hareidi (Jerusalem, Bnei Brak and Ashdod) the density is highest – one person and over per room.
Data relating to the ownership of goods: In Jerusalem almost 50 percent of all households have air conditioning, compared to the national average of 81.4%. In Rishon LeZion - the highest percentage of ownership for most kitchen utensils, Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan - the highest number of computers per hundred persons (over 60 computers). In Haifa - the highest number of mobile phones per capita - per hundred persons there are 86 mobile phones.
The following data refer to fourteen largest cities in the country - six cities with more than 200,000 residents: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv - Jaffa, Haifa, Rishon Lezion, Ashdod and Petah Tikva. And eight cities with 100000-200000 inhabitants: Ramat Gan, Netanya, Holon, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Beer Sheva, Ashkelon and Rechovot.
The highest percentage of deep freezer owners is in Bnei Brak households (34.2%) and the lowest is in households in Tel Aviv - Jaffa (8.8%). 78.4% of households in Rechovot have at least one car and 27.6% have two or more cars, compared with rates of car ownership in Bnei Brak (28.6 and 2.1 percent, respectively)
