A big crowd in Rechovot escorted the levaya of Harav Hatzadik R' Yitzchok (Iche) Rosenboim zt"l, son of the Kretchnif Rebbe R' Dovid Moshe zt"l, who died at the age of 51, after a fatal disease which dwelled in his body over the last few months.
After his ptira, an amazing story became known in the Krechnif Chassidus – a Mofes of the deceased zt"l, according to them.
The story is told as follows: Last Elul, R' Yitzchok stayed in Beit Shemesh. During his stay, the owner of the home told him about a young woman, a mother of children, who is ill with a fatal disease.
R' Yitzchok, who always saw it his goal to rejoice the hearts of broken and miserable Jews, asked to talk to the woman on the phone, and told her during the conversation: "I am not one who gives brochos, I am the son of the Krechnif Rebbe who did wonders with many. I have no wife or children, I wish you good health Be'ezras Hashem, and to marry off your children and see grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and everything you have – will pass on to me".
Indeed, on Erev Rosh Hashanah they discovered R' Yitzchok was ill, and he did not recover. In contrast, the ill woman got well over the last few weeks, and is recuperating from her disease.
And it was a wonder!
