American security authorities announced tonight (Wednesday), that a Bangladesh citizen was arrested on suspicion of terrorist activity in the Central Bank building in New York.

The FBI who arrested the man, said that the man is Coazi Muhammad Razwanol Ahsan Nafis, a member of Al -Qaeda.

The man came to the U.S. at the beginning of 2012 in order to carry out an attack in the United States. He began the process of preparing the attack, but did not manage to advance his plans. .

Allegedly the terrorist intended to activate a bomb weighing about 450 kg at the Central Bank of USA building in New York (Federal Reserve), located near where the Twin Towers once stood.

The towers were destroyed in the terrorist attacks of 11 September, which claimed the lives of thousands.

The terrorist made contact with various parties to help him carry out the attack.

One of the factors was a man who worked for the FBI and sold Nafis 454 kg of simulated explosives. Nafis thought they was real explosives, and assembled a charge out of it.
