A Qassam rocket which was fired this evening (Tuesday) from the Gaza Strip exploded in the yard of a residence in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. Two people were treated for shock.
According to witnesses, the rocket fell a few meters away from a home, but landed in the sands and no damage was caused.
On Saturday night two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip and exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council. There were no casualties or damage.
The shooting occurred a few hours after the IDF killed a senior leader of the radical Salafi organization associated with the World Jihad.
