Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel, decided to ground system fighter jets for one day (Sunday) following multiple safety events in recent months, including aircrafts approaching each other too closely during training.
Operational activities will be planned and prepared as usual. In addition the air force commander immediately updated safety plans for any upcoming training squadrons.
