After promise to Neturei Karta: renovation of Kever Zvulun started

Three months have passed since the delegation of Neturei Karta which visited Lebanon received a promise from factors in the government to renovate the grave of Zvulun ben Yaakov in the city of Sidon – and over the last few days the news has been received: the renovations have started, and may last a few weeks.

As was reported in Behadrey Haredim, the heads of the radical faction, Yisroel David Weiss and David Shlomo Feldman, visited Lebanon three months ago as visitors to an international convention in Beirut, in which pro-Palestinian organizations' representatives took part.

During the visit, the hosts took them to daven at the tomb of Zvulun ben Yaakov in the city of Sidon, where they discovered great neglect. Upon their return, they asked factors in the Lebanese government to start procedures of renovating and maintenance of the tomb.

From information which reached Behadrey Haredim, it seems that over the last few days, renovations have started in the grave's demarcated area and a large tent is being erected in the area.

The one who stands behind the financing of the renovation are USA residents, who decided to donate money to this purpose. In an internal paper, where the activity of the Neturei Karta organization activity all over the world is reviewed, it was written as a result of the renovations: "While here in Eretz Hakodesh the Zionists have been in power for only sixty years, and have already managed to ruin thousands of graveyards and burial caves, and each day they continue with the destruction and annihilation, in the country of Lebanon not only did they not harm the grave, but they also help renovate and renew the mausoleum on the grave of Zvulun Ben Yaakov".
