Thieves at Neila. Watch: Exclusive documentation of robbery at Yeshiva in Jerusalem

At a Yeshiva in the Makor Baruch suburb of Jerusalem, theft occurred during Yom Kippur: during the time of Neila, two people with a seemingly religious appearance went into the building on Rashi street, covered with a Talis, and penetrated adjacent study rooms which were turned into bedrooms for some of the mispalelim on Erev Yom Kippur.

The couple went into one of the rooms which was left open, and a few minutes later came out carrying a big sum.

Among others, the two stole personal items of a person who slept in the room, including a purse with a large amount of money, credit cards and other magnetic cards. According to one of the mispalelim, the theft amounts to a large sum of money.

The person in charge of the Minyan checked the security cameras in the area, and discovered that the two covered themselves with Taleisim, in order to delude whoever will notice them, and then entered the area in which the rooms are located, checked if the rooms are open, and when they noticed that one room was open, they emptied it.
On Motzaei Yom Kippur a police car arrived at the scene, after a complaint was submitted over the phone, and policemen started an investigation.
