Czech Republic: vandalized ancient Jewish cemetery south of Prague
Czech police announced that an ancient Jewish cemetery in the town Roditz south of the capital city Prague, was vandalized • At least 26 tombstones were desecrated and tumbled • Local police are investigating

Czech Police today (Yom Kippur), informed that vandals defaced at least 26 gravestones in a Jewish cemetery south of Prague and smashed some of them.
Czech police spokesman Miroslaw Dobek said that it is estimated that the graves were desecrated over the last two months.
The ancient cemetery is located at the heart of a forest near the town Roditz, about 65 miles south of Prague and is not used for burial any longer.
There are about 150 graves in it.
Local police opened an investigation.
