Son-in-law alarmed to save life of father-in-law. Harav Dror Raz z"l

Yisrael Gudelevsky, the Shabos on-call paramedic of Hatzala Petah Tikva, was rushed on Shabbos night to take care of his father in law, Harav Dror Raz z"l, who lost consciousness. After an hour of resuscitation, his death was determined.

On Friday night, close to 22:00pm, the Shabbos on-call paramedics of Hatzala Petah Tikva and MDA were alarmed after a report of an unconscious person on Yehudah Hanasi street in the city, was received.

The Shabbos duty officer was Yisrael Gudelevsky, who immediately identified the building in which his father-in-law, Harav Dror Raz, lived.

Gudelevsky rushed to the scene, and indeed he found his father-in-law unconscious. Together with the MDA team, the volunteers performed resuscitation for more than an hour, but finally a doctor determined his death.

The levaya of Harav Dror Raz t"l will take place tonight at 23:00pm in the Segula cemetery in Petah Tikva.

Harav Dror Raz z"l was of the old generation of the Sephardi Kehilla in the city, his acquaintances tell of an honest and straightforward man, a man who served Hashem with his entire being. A few years ago he had a by-pass operation.
May his soul be cherished for eternal life.
