A special dining hall will be built for the benefit of the Talmidim in the Mir Yeshiva, who are American citizens.
The Mir Yeshiva which is located in Beis Yisrael, Jerusalem, and the largest Yeshiva in the world, suffers of great crowding especially in the dining hall.
The Yeshiva's dining hall supplies mainly lunch to its students, in two shifts, since at the same time the hundreds of avreichim of the Yeshiva each their meal as well.
Recently, American boys who learn in the Yeshiva have complained that by the time they go down to the dining hall, the food runs out.
Therefore the management has decided that only registered Yeshiva Talmidim could enter the dining hall in order to prevent those who are not among the Yeshiva students, from entering the dining room.
In addition, for the first time a third shift will be opened, for all the new Talmidim who did not manage to find a place to each until then.
It was also decided to establish an additional dining hall for Americans. The dining hall will be located in the building of the Zvihl institutions in the neighborhood, where the hall will soon be prepared and to which the entry will only be with cards.
Meanwhile, the chassidishe bochurim who learn in the Beit Yishaya building, have started learning the Daf Hayomi as part of the Sdarim of the Yeshiva.
