Jerusalem: pupil badly injured on way to seminary

Yesterday morning (Tues.), the second day of the new school year, a harsh accident occurred in Jerusalem: on Golda Meir blvd. corner Shefa Chaim st. in Jerusalem, a seminary girl, 16 years old, was hit by a transport van.

Volunteer paramedics of Ichud Hatzala gave her primary care, and she was evacuated in a harsh condition after being badly hit in her head for continued treatment at the Hadassah Ein Karem hospital.

Aharon Bak of Ichud Hatzala related: "When I got to the scene, I noticed a girl of 16 without consciousness, after having crossed at a pedestrian crossing and being hit by a minibus which was carrying pupils. The members of family related that the girl was on her way to seminary and was badly injured.

"We gave her primary care until the IC ambulance evacuated her to hospital – in a harsh condition".

In the late morning hours the girl was taken into the operating room.
The members of family ask the public to daven for: Adina bas Chana.
