Hurricane Isaac in the USA, which has already caused a delay in the opening of the Republican conference, hit the costs of Texas in the south of the USA on Wednesday morning.
The hurricane also hit the shores of Louisiana the previous night, and caused a landslide in the south-east of the state. The American emergency array is tensely taking place around two nuclear devices which are in the danger range.
The Mississippi river has overflowed in a few places.
The warning center of the hurricane center now talks of the city of Sabin Pas in Texas.
In New Orleans there are fears of the overflowing of dams which were harmed in the Catherine hurricane about 7 years ago, and are hoping that the protection array which the American Engineering Force has erected, will do its share.
So far, 29 people have been killed in the storm in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
The storm, which is defined as a Level 1 hurricane, is moving at the speed of 150km per hour, and causing stormy winds and heavy rains.
Estimations in the USA are that the storm will pass the shores of the USA at the latest by Thursday night.
