Members of family from Har Nof came to visit their grandparents in the Ramada hotel in Jerusalem. The two year old infant fell from the basin to the floor, and was evacuated in a severe condition. The police: there is no suspicion of parents' negligence

Last Wednesday close to 20:00pm, an infant of about two years old fell from the basin to the floor, in a hotel on Herzl blvd. in Jerusalem, and was evacuated by teams of MDA to the Hadassah Ein Karem hospital, suffering from a severe head injury.

Attorney Dror Shussheim, an MDA paramedic, told Behadrei Haredim that this is a family from Har Nof, who are members of the French community, who came to visit their grandparents on the 12th floor of the Ramada hotel.

"The two year old child was unconscious when we arrived. According to his father, the child fell from the basin which was about a meter and a half high, on his head. After resuscitation, he was evacuated in a severe condition with a head injury and unconscious to the Hadassah Ein Karem hospital".

The child underwent CT checkups.

From the Hadassah hospital it was reported that "the infant is hospitalized in a severe condition in the trauma unit of the hospital, suffering of a head injury. He is undergoing a few treatments, and the hospital team is trying to stabilize his condition".

The Jerusalem police reported that the case is known, and there is no suspicion of negligence on behalf of the parents
