Pulled out an iPhone at Chupa and Rosh Yeshiva ruled: Possul for Edus

Those who took part at a wedding last Monday at the "Wolf Palaces" hall in Jerusalem, were witness to the following drama: before the Chupah, while arranging the Kesuba, Harav Yosev Zeev Feinstein, Rosh Yeshiva of "Amala shel Torah" and who served as Messader Kidushin, asked the Eidim who are signing the Kesuba to present their cellular phones to him.
One of the Eidim presented his kosher phone, while the other presented an iPhone. The Rav ruled the Edus as possul, and reasoned that a person who has a Treif phone cannot act as Eid.
The Eid accepted the words of the Rosh Yeshiva with understanding, and instead of him another Eid was brought.
The decision became the talk of the day among the bochurim of Amala Shel Torah Yeshiva, which is considered a Klal Chassidish Yeshiva. "All the bochurim know about the Issur of holding cellular phone," said one of the bochurim to Behadrey Haredim, "but we were surprised to see how possul and severe an iPhone is in the eyes of the Rosh Yeshiva".
