Condition of infant drowned in Kfar Ruth, critical

The condition of the 3 year old hareidi infant who drowned a week and a half ago in a swimming pool in Kfar Ruth, is critical.

The infant was hospitalized in the ICU of Tel Hashomer hospital, and over the last 24 hours his situation has deteriorated. Since his hospitalization, his parents have not left his bedside.

The infant probably suffers of a harsh brain injury and as it seems, it has been having its effect during the last hours. "There is a general failure of systems", says his uncle in a talk with Behadrey Haredim. "I am making my way now to the hospital, and these might be his last hours".

He adds that, "only a miracle can help, we have learned that Hakadosh Boruch Hu can change the order of the world until the last second".

The family of the infant who lives in Jerusalem is undergoing hard days, "The parents were in a state of euphoria that it will be good, but then they understood that unless there's a miracle they might have to part with their son", says the uncle with a choked voice. "The feeling for them is a very harsh one".

According to information which reached Behadrey Haredim, last Monday when the incident occurred, the family was on its way to Park Nachshonit next to the city of Elad. They ordered tickets through the internet, but when they reached the entrance they realized they had forgotten their credit card, and could not receive the tickets. In order not to disappoint their three children, they decided to go to a pool in Kfar Ruth and there the tragedy occurred.

Close to the infants' swimming pool, so it seems, a trampoline was placed for the children. The infant went up to it and probably slipped from it into the water.
The father noticed that his little son is not there, and when he started searching for him it was too late.

"It was total negligence," the uncle accuses. "The lifeguard probably didn't know how to treat the child, and therefore the critical seconds had an influence on his condition". He also accuses that "the lifeguard lied that the child was swimming in the pool, while he actually fell from the trampoline".

As a result of the infant's critical condition, the name Chai was added to his name, after consulting with Rabbonim.

The Israeli police has started investigating the circumstances of the case. They checked a suspected negligence on behalf of the owner of the place, and among other things it was discovered that he did not hold a suitable license to run the place. Last week, the manager was detained for investigation, at the end of which the police demanded his arrest.

The council of the Modi'in district decided to close the place for 30 days.
"All that's left for us to do is daven, and remember that one mustn't go to places before verifying their legal functioning".

The public is called upon to daven for the health of Hai Moshe ben Rinat, for Refuah Shleima among all the ill of Yisroel.
