A car accident on Tuesday night, in Kfar Chabad: A child riding on a bicycle was hit by a passing car and was injured. He was evacuated to the Asaf Harofeh Hospital in a medium condition.
Itzik Bloy, paramedic of Hatzola – Kfar Chabad, told Behadrei Hareidim that the child on the bicycle came out of one of the paths at a dizzying speed, and a small commercial vehicle hit him powerfully.
The fact that the child was wearing a helmet, prevented a much more serious injury," says Itzik, "It's very important to ride, but only with a helmet, it saves lives!"
The child, about seven years old, was injured in his head and limbs, received first aid in full consciousness and was evacuated by ambulance to the hospital.
The child is a resident of Saratov in Russia, who came for a summer vacation in his grandfather's home in Kfar Chabad.
