Harsh tragedy in the city of Elad: Yesterday morning (Mon.) the avrech Harav Yaakov Glassner z"l passed away suddenly, only 31 years old.
The on-call paramedics of Hatzala Gush Dan and Ichud Hatzala performed resuscitation in his home on Rabi Yehudah Hanasi street as he had lost consciousness, but to everyone's great dismay, they did not succeed and a MDA doctor determined his death.
The members of the family told that the avrech did not suffer of any health problems, and the night before he had complained of a headache.
Shmulik Kahana, an MDA and Hatzala Gush Dan volunteer told: "The incident occurred in his home, close to my living residence. When I arrived I started resuscitation, but after about half an hour an MDA doctor was forced to determine his death. His wife related that during the night he complained of headaches, but this morning he passed away suddenly. He was a friend whom I knew personally."
The deceased z"l was a G-d fearing kollel avrech. His friends and acquaintances find it hard to absorb the harsh news.
He left behind his wife and young children. His father, R' Zvi Glassner, was one of the founders of the Committee for Shabbos in Bnei Brak.
His levaya took place yesterday at 13:30 from his home on 83 Yehuda Hanassi street, Elad its way to the Segulah cemetery in Petah Tikva.
May his soul be cherished for eternal life.
