Saved from Twin Towers disaster and held Bris Milah today

This Bris Milah, will not be forgotten by the Mohel for a long time. A Jew of fifty years old, who did not enjoy having a Bris after his birth, and now at an older age wanted the holy sign to be engraved in his flesh.

Behind this Bris Milah stands a rare story:

Alexander Yavisevitz, 50 years old, was born in the city of Homel in south-east Belarus. When he grew up, he immigrated to New York, learned computers and served as a programmer.

Eventually he started working for a company whose office was in the World Trade Center in the Twin Towers, New York.

On the morning of the 11th September, 2001, Yavisevitz came to work as usual, but for some reason was late by a few minutes. Because of his delay, he was further delayed at the entrance to the building, exactly when the suicide plane hit the sky-scraper.
Yavisevitz was thereby saved from the hell which raged in the building a few minutes later.

During the last week, Alexander sat with a few friends who raised a Lechaim for him, and one of his friends who had a Bris Milah five years ago, offered him to have a Bris, and Yavisevitz agreed.

His friends contacted the Bris Yosef Yitzchok organization, and the members immediately contacted the Mohel who organized an operating room.

Today, on Rosh Chodesh Tamuz, Yavisevitz came into the Bris of Avraham Avinu a"h. After the Bris he held a Seudas Mitzvah, and laid Tefillin.

On the 11th September 2001, 19 terrorists from the El Kaida organization captured large passenger planes from the United and American Airlines companies. The terrorists shattered two of the planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, causing them to collapse.

Another airplane was shattered into the Pentagon, the American defense department, close to Washington, and destroyed one of its wings.
