Not a game. Boy flew with bike onto car on road

An accident in Bnei Brak. A boy of 6 flew with his bike and hit a pole. From there he was thrown onto the road and was hit by a car of a disabled which passed by. Evacuated to Tel Hashomer hospital, defined in a medium condition

A boy, resident of Bnei Brak, was harshly injured from a car while riding on his bike.
The accident occurred on Uziel street, when a boy aged 6, who was riding on his bike, was hit by a car.

The Ichud Hatzola- Bnei Brak paramedics gave the child first aid, until the IC ambulance of MDA arrived, and evacuated him in a medium condition for continued treatment in hospital.

Efi Feldman, the head of the Ichud Hatzola – Bnei Brak branch, who was one of the first on the scene, told: "The child burst forth with his bike from a side street onto the road on Uziel street. He collided with a pole and flew onto the road. A car of a disabled which at that time had left the "Aleh" home in the vicinity, hit the child.

"I found him injured in all parts of his body. Together with other paramedics we gave him first aid, and moved him to the intensive care ambulance which evacuated him to Tel Hashomer".

Meir Zargarian, a MDA and Hatzola – Gush Dan volunteer, told: "When I arrived on scene I noticed that the child was lying on the road with his face downwards. He suffered of head and abdomen injuries. We gave him primary care including bone-setting and oxygen".
