Harav Avraham Simcha Samet z"l. With his Tefillin bag in hand
Avraham Simcha Samet, a Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Chossid, 68 years old, was critically wounded in a car accident in Boro Park – and was niftar in hospital. His Tefillin bag was found soiled with blood at the scene.

A fatal car accident took place this evening (Mon.) in Boro Park, USA
Harav Avraham Simcha Samet, a Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Chossid, resident of Williamsburg, aged 68, was niftar of his wounds at the Maimonides Hospital after crossing the road and being hit by a passing car with great force.
The accident took place at about 12:30 (USA time) when Harav Samet crossed the street at Utracht Unio and 49th st.
Police forces and Hatzalah came to the scene and evacuated Samet to hospital in a critical condition.
When he arrived in hospital, the doctors were forced to determine his death.
The niftar's Tefillin bag was found soiled with blood on scene.
Harav Samet was born in Jerusalem, to his father Harav Hachashuv R' Yoel zt"l, of the glorious figures of the elders of the Toldos Aharon Chassidim, who was the son-in-law of the Mekubal R' Asher Zelig Margolios zt"l. Harav Samet lived in Williamsburg and arrived in Boro Park during the morning hours for business purposes.
The New York police is investigating the circumstances of the accident, and has blocked the roads in the vicinity.
