In the middle of Havdolah, the Rebbe instructed: go back to Ashdod

The Slonimer Chassidim from Ashdod made Shabbos in Yerushalayim. The Rebbe stopped the Havdolah and said "Hinei Kel Yeshuasi Evtach v'lo Efchad – all the Chareidim will go back home in peace, unafraid"

The Slonimer Chassidim, and among them residents of Ashdod, spent Shabbos in Yerushalayim together with the Rebbe.

When the reports came in on Motzaei Shabbos about the rockets, the Ashdod residents asked their Rebbe for advice. The answer was given by the Rebbe when he started Havdolah: " Hinei Kel Yeshuasi Evtach v'lo Efchad". Here the Rebbe stopped for a few seconds, to the Chassidim's surprise, and added a few words in Yiddish: "All our people from Ashdod, and in general all the Chareidim from Ashdod, should go back home to Ashdod in peace, and shouldn't be afraid at all".

One of the Chassidim present, tells Chadrei Chareidim that after the instruction of the Rebbe, no one had any doubts, and everyone went back to Ashdod, assured of their Rebbe's advice.
