Child of American Tourists Seriously Injured
A six year child of American tourists spending Shabbos in Meron was seriously injured when a closet fell on her. She was airlifted to Chaifa's Rambam hospital in serious condition.

An innocent childhood game of hide and seek ended dramatically this Shabbos when a six year old girl was seriously injured. A family of American tourists were spending the Shabbos in Meron. Their daughter was playing hide and sek with a group of children and was seriously injured when the closet she was hiding in fell on her. A nearby Hatzalah volunteer was alerted to the scene of the accident by the scream and had to call for backup when he assessed the girls injuries.
She was subsequently airlifted to Chaifa's Rambam hospital in serious condition with what was thought to be a head injury.
After Shabbos Bechadrey Charedim spoek to the hospital and his been notified that there has been improvement in the child's condition. She is now in moderate to stable condition and is not suffering from a head injury. She has other non-life threatening injuries. She is currently hospitalized in the pediatric ICU and is sedated and intubated.
