Brush Fire in Ramot Forest: Neighborhood Evacuated
A fire is burning out of control in the Ramot Forest.

A large brush fire is burning out of control near Ramot. Strong winds are carrying the flames closer to the homes in Ramot.
Residents of Derech Choresh and Masholim up until Gan Hakipod were told to evacuate their homes. They were told to close all windows and doors and to make sure that no neighbors, children or elderly are left behind.
Fire companies from all around Jerusalem as well as other areas are being called to the scene.
At this time it has been sugested that the cause of the fire was an improperly extinguished bon fire.
