Vaad Hayeshivos to Meet Tomorrow

Nasi of the Shas Moetzes Chachmei Torah, and a number of Roshei Yeshiva are expected to meet tomorrow at the Bnei Brak home of Harav Gershon Edelstein, Rosh Yeshivas Ponevezh tomorrow.

Bechadrey Charedim presents a list of the participants and topics on the table.
There are a number of topics to be discussed, most prominent among them is the draft law- and whether or not to open a public battle against it.

The following Rabanim are expected to participate:

Harav Shalom Cohen, Harav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, Harav Shaul Alter, Harav Dov Landua, Harav Baruch Soloveitchik , Harav Moshe Yehuda Shlezinger.

Harav Chaim Aharon Kaufman, Yoshev Rosh of Vaad Hayeshivos will give over a summary of the Vaad Hayeshivos actions.

Bechadrey Charedim has learned that it is expected that the Rabanim will draft a letter detailing their decision with instructions for the Bachurim. Additionally the Rabanim are expected to discuss the possibility of establishing a branch to deal with sensitive issues.
