Boro Park: Delivery Boy Tried to Choke 5 Year Old

New York police arrested an 18 year old delivery Wednesday for attempting to choke a 5 year old Jewish boy in the lobby of his apartment building.

Francisco Oswaldo works as a delivery boy at the Super 13 supermarket. He made a grocery delivery to an apartment on 52nd street Monday. He then walked up to a five year old boy in the lobby and placed his hand around the child's neck and squeezed.

The boy's mother notified shomrim and they contacted the police. The surveillance video in the boy's building proved his version of the event.

"Detectives arrested Oswaldo on Wednesday morning and charged him with assault in the second degree, attempted assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing in the third degree and harassment in the second degree."
