Now I know Why He didn't Want to Wait For Lag Baomer

Three year old Dovid Klahr z"l died suddenly this past Shabbos in Bnei Brak. He insisted that his parents cut his hair in Meron on his birthday, and not wait until Lag Baomer.

Now I know Why He didn't Want to Wait For Lag Baomer

Many have visited the shiva house this week in order to comfort Dovid's family- and leave comforted.

Dovid's father Harav Moshe Baruch has accepted upon himself Hashem's Din.

During the shiva the child's father related that Dudi, whose birthday was on the 11th of Nissan insisted that his first haircut take place in Meron on his actual birthday- and not on Lag Baomer as is customary.

"For half a year he prepared for his chalakah", says the father. "And amazingly the entire family managed to organize a family Shabbos in Meron- something that we haven't ever done in Meron before. On Motzaei Shabbos Dovid's striking red curls were cut, and he was given peyos.

"We do not know the ways of Heaven, but as it was said at his funeral," Dovid arrived in Heaven looking like a Jewish boy- with beautiful peyos. Now we understand why he was so stubborn about having his haircut on his birthday. "

Bechadrey Charedim has learned that one of the Rabbis that came to comfort the boy's father said the following:" The most amazing words of Emunah were heard from you- when you accepted G-d's judgment and said that Dovid's soul completed its rectification in just three short years and did not need to suffer for decades down here in this world in order to give his parent's nachas."
