Tunnel collapses during early morning construction work. Despite a heavy response of rescue personnel, the tractor driver was found dead by the time he was extracted from the wreckage.

A tunnel collapsed during early morning construction work in the Reshafim area. Despite a heavy response of rescue personnel, the tractor driver was found dead by the time he was extracted from the wreckage.
At 5:00 a.m. emergency dispatchers received a call for help reporting a tunnel collapse in the Reshafim area with a person trapped inside. Seven fire companies were dispatched to the scene. After great efforts the body of the driver was extricated from the wreckage.
