Londoners voted on Thursday to choose a replacement for the outgoing mayor, Boris Johnson MP. It was confirmed Friday that Sadiq Khan MP will be London's new mayor.
Mr. Khan was first elected to parliament in 2005, became a minister of state in 2008, and was a shadow secretary of state for justice from 2010-2015. He has a worrying background and is known to support radical Islam as is seen in the following examples:
He wrote a letter to the Guardian after the J7/7 bombings on London which blamed British government policy for instigating terrorism.
He defended Zacarias Moussaoui ,a 9/11 terrorist and member of Al Qaeda.
He wrote a chapter in a book entitled "Actions Against the Police," in which he gives advice on how to bring charges against the police for "racism". As Mayor of London he will now have authority of this same police force.
He defended Azzam Tamimi, an Islamist extremist, who told the public that the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed would "cause the world to tremble" and would bring "Fire …throughout the world it they don't stop."
He shared a platform with Suliman Gani. A south London imam who has encouraged the subservience of women to men and has called for the founding of an Islamic state.
