Yitzchak Pindrus to become Acting Mayor of Yerushalyaim

Acting Mayor of Jerusalem Yossi Deutsch has notified Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat that in accordance with the agreement with the Degel Hatorah faction he will transfer his position to Yitzchak Pindrus, while continuing in his position of Deputy Mayor.

Deutsch wrote Barkat that according to the agreement, he intends to address the issue at a meeting of the Jerusalem City Council

It should be noted that within Degel Hatorah there is an agreement that two and a half years after formation of the Jerusalem municipal coalition, wherein Yisrael Kellerman served as Deputy Mayor, he will resign and Yitzchak Pindruss will take his place and be appointed Deputy Mayor as the Degel Hatorah representative. In addition, Pindrus will be appointed to the position of Acting Mayor under the rotation agreement between Agudas Yisrael and Degel Hatorah, while Yossi Deutsch will retain the office of Deputy Mayor only.
