Eden Levi, the girl who was seriously injured in the number 12 bus bombing about 2 weeks has awoken. Her father talks to Bchadrey about the days and nights he has spent at her bedside, about the weeks of worry, and about the miracle of her survival
Good news, Eden levy who was seriously injured in the number 12 bus bombing has awaken. In a special interview her father talks to Bchadrey about the nissim.

"I am so happy, she was saved by a miracle. Baruch Hashem she didn't suffer any internal injuries. Her face was burned but the doctors expect those wounds to heal without scaring. She may need surgery on her hands at some point- but really it is such a nes! She has burns over 45% of her body and they needed to remove shrapnel. I am at her side 24 hours a day."

Eden's father relays that the doctors are very hopeful about her recovery. He talks about her awakening.

" On Shabbos I read the parsha next to her ear and she opened her eyes and called out, "Abba, Abba!" I cried for joy. Today the doctors reduced her sedation and she is much more alert, she even managed to sit in a chair. She is still on a respirator, I hope they will be able to wean her off today. She is still very frightened and traumatized from the bombing itself.

"Eden is a very special girl, she is careful to respect her parents, and everyone els, she is very tzanua. When such a child is injured it is a kapparah for everyone. Perhaps it would have been a more devastating tragedy. I believe that this didn't just stam happen to her. The terrorist exploded right next to her.

"This is actually the second time her life was saved. When she was 2 years old we went to Sabbaro on King George to buy pizza, but the store was too crowded so we left. Just as we walked out the door terrorist attack occurred."
