Pogrom in Broad Day Light in the Apta Shul in Williamsburg

A madman entered the shul and tried to attack the mispallilim with a ladder, he then threw benches ,tables and sefarim. B"H no one was injured.
Leizer who was present along with other Avreichim during the attack relates," We were sitting and learning Gemarah in a group when suddenly a gentile runs in. I didn't understand what was going on- I thought someone outside was chasing him, and then I realized that he had come to attack us. My friend and I felt as if we were in a terror attack in Eretz Yisrael. There were soundsof Torah learning and then shocked silence.
"He began throwing sefarim, tables and holy articles. We didn't know what to do. We managed to slip out the door, then a group of us ganged up on him and pinned him to the floor until we were able to give him over to security services."
