Two Israelis Arrested in Romania for Spying

Two Israeli’s have been arrested in Romania on the suspicion of spying. They are both scientists in the field of high-tech- an according to reports they once served in the Mossad. They are co-founders and directors of a private Israeli investigation firm called Black Cube.

They are suspected of launching a breaking into the email account of one of the leading prosecutors in the anticorruption authority. Her company has responded saying that she works against corruption in the Romanian government and there is no truth to the rumors.

The foreign ministry in Yerushalyaim has told “Kol Yisrael” that the Israeli counsel is in touch with the Romanian government. It is interesting to note that last week the Wall Street Journal reported that another Israeli company has exposed a corruption scandal in the Romanian government.
