Herzog: “Don’t be Fooled by my Smile”

MK Yitzchak Herzog; head of the opposition responded this evening to the storm surrounding the investigation against him, and threatened that those who are trying to hurt him will get a strong political kick
.
Herzog said,” I am advising everyone not to get excited. Every time there are general or internal elections different political powers try to topple us by turning the police into a political campaign on our backs. We recognize this, we have dealt with it in the past and we will react to every attempt to use the police as part of a campaign against us
. “
He continued saying, “we are not suckers, we understand very clearly why this happens. Whoever is behind this will suffer a political blow that will teach them a lesson for years to come. Listen up: I am not afraid of an investigation and I will cooperate with the entire process
.
“It is clear to me that is all in order to frighten me off the path that Netanyahu and the extreme right wing have brought us to.
I will cope with this, I will lead and I will win and we will make certain that the one who came up with this idea will regret doing so. Throughout the years I have proven to my party and to the public that I am not a sucker and that I know how to kick when I have to. In the general elections I surprised everyone by getting mandates no one expected
