Hesder Soldier Collapsed Day After Enlisting

Tragedy in the army: Yehuda Suissa z”l, a religious soldier who enlisted just yesterday collapsed today during basic training in the south. He was transported to Soroka hospital in Be’er Sheva were he was pronounced dead. His family was informed.
A suspension of all operations was ordered until an initial investigation is performed.
The union of Hesder Yeshivot mourns the sudden death of their beloved Yehuda, as student of the yeshiva in Karnei Shomron. “Yehuda served Hashem in all his dealings. He sat and learned in Yeshiva even when it was difficult. He felt for others in distress and would do all he could to help another, with humility and a smile- and without them even realizing. He also volunteered as a counselor for special needs children in the respite center housed in the Yeshiva. He was constantly working to improve himself. May his memory be blessed.”
