Two young Palestinians have carried out two separate vehicular ramming and shooting attacks, one after another on Monday morning at the northern entrance to Kiryat Arba. The terrorists were eliminated.
The attack took place at 7:00 a.m. at a bus stop at the entrance to Kiryat Arba. A terrosists tried to run over soldiers standing at the bus stop and when he was unsuccssessful he got out of his card and began firing at the soldiers. The terrorsit was shot and killed and a soldier was lightly wounded by shrapnel .
Ten minutes later while the wounded was reciving medical care another car raming attack was carried out at the same place. The second terrorist was also shot and killed and a second solder was lightly wounded.
These two incident took place at the northern entrance of Kiryat Arba called “Elias” where a hitchhiking shelter and a gas station are located.
MDA paramedic Eyal Mor-Yosef, arrived on the scene to provide treatment . "We received a call about a vehicular attack and gunfire near a hitchhiking station. When we got there we saw a fully conscious man of about 20, suffering a penetrating wound to an extremity. We provided first aid care and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem. He was listed as lightly wounded.
"After a few minutes, while we were still in the arena, another car came, went off course and hit a young man of about 20. Together with the IDF's medical forces we administered medical care. He was also lightly wounded. Both terrorists were neutralized by the security forces. "
